Modi responded by saying that India values its partnership with Bill Gates in promoting innovation for the benefit of humanity.
“Deeply appreciate your message @BillGates. Recall our very positive and engaging conversation a few months ago, including on transformative role of technology in governance and healthcare, and India’s commitment to climate change and sustainable development,” Modi said in a post, replying to Gates.
“We value our partnership for promoting innovation for the benefit of humanity,” he added.
PM Modi oath-taking ceremony business leaders
Prime Minister Modi and his council of ministers were sworn in during a ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, lasting over three hours. Notably, there are 33 first-time ministers, including seven from allied parties: TDP’s K Rammohan Naidu, Chandrasekhar Pemmasani; JDU’s Lalan Singh, Ram Nath Thakur; RLD’s Jayant Chaudhary; LJP’s Chirag Paswan; and HD Kumaraswamy of the JD(S).”
Apart from politicians, several business persons also attended the ceremony. People present at the Rashtrapati Bhavan included chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani, founder and chairman of the Adani Group Gautam Adani as well as co-founder and CMO of Boat and Shark Tank judge Aman Gupta.
