Apple has introduced new functionalities through its iOS update to enhance the overall user experience on its devices and improve interactions with customer service, including support for new Indian languages and numbers. The upgrade also includes an expanded options, and input methods with a keyboard designed for multiple languages, improved search for language content, and support for a language-capable Siri. These updates aim to appeal to Indian users particularly.
In a statement, Apple mentioned, “Apple makes the iPhone more personal, capable, and intelligent than ever. It’s a major release that features more customization options, the biggest redesign ever of the Photos app, new ways for users to manage their inbox in Mail, and so much more.”
In the most recent update, users have the option to personalize the display time on the lock screen using Indian numerals in 12 different languages: Arabic, Arabic Indic, Bangla, Devanagari, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Kannada, Malayalam, Meitei, Odia, Ol Chiki, Telugu.
Additionally, users can tweak and fine-tune the color and thickness of the font to achieve the desired aesthetic for their Contact Posters.
