CT police looking for vehicle of interest in search for missing 2-year-old girl

Police have issued a Silver Alert for a 2-year-old girl from Groton.Payton Collier was reported missing Thursday, according to the Groton Police Department.Police said the girl is believed to be with her mother, though they said they have reason to believe they need to conduct a welfare check on her.In searching for the toddler, police said they are looking for a black Honda Civic with Connecticut license plate BN82240. The vehicle was last seen in the Groton area on Monday shortly after 5 p.m.The toddler has been described as standing 2 feet tall and weighing about 30 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.Anyone with information has been asked to call the Groton Police Department at 860-445-2451.
