Apple recently announced that iOS 18 Beta 2 new features will be available to users starting Monday, 24th June. This is exactly two weeks after the announcement of iOS 18 at the Apple WWDC 2024 event in San Jose.
In addition to installing these new additions, the iOS 18 Beta 2 update will fix some bugs and change other new additions.
It has been reported that the iPhone maker has finally revealed two features that users will be able to use with the Beta 2 update. Those features include iPhone Mirroring and SharePlay screen sharing.
Apple has unveiled several updates for iOS 18. However, some of these updates are not in the Beta now. This leads to the feeling that Apple is either ‘saving’ some of these features or implementing them in a phased manner.
According to the details, certain of the features announced today won’t be available until the end of this year. The rest of the features are believed to be incorporated during the beta testing and testing stages.
The first feature to arrive in iOS gadgets after this upgrade is the iPhone Mirroring feature. This upcoming highlight will let users mirror their iPhone’s display to that on their Mac. This will let users associate with their iPhones, get iPhone notifications on their Mac, and consistently drag and drop between their Mac and iPhone without even having to physically open their iPhone’s screen.
