Hartford police are investigating a shooting that left one man hospitalized on Monday.
Patrol officers responded to the 100 block of Lawrence Street around 11:39 a.m. Monday on a report of a person shot, according to the Hartford Police Department.
Arriving officers located a gunshot victim, police said. The victim, a man in his 20s was transported to Hartford Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, according to police.
The Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and are conducting the ongoing investigation, police said.
