Man with gunshot wound turns up at CT hospital; one of two such incidents in one city on one night

A man in his 20s was shot in Bridgeport on Monday evening.Police officers responded to St. Vincent’s Hospital at 6:47 p.m. after learning that a gunshot victim had arrived there in a personal vehicle and sought treatment, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.A gunshot victim also was taken to Bridgeport Hospital late Monday, according to police.Man shot in vehicle in Bridgeport walks to store to seek help
Police said the victim, a man in his early 20s, suffered a gunshot wound to his right thigh. He has been listed in stable condition.The Bridgeport Police Detective Bureau responded and assumed the investigation.Police believe the shooting took place in the 300 block of High Ridge Drive around 6:40 pm.The shooting remains under investigation.Anyone with information has been asked to contact Det.
