Police are looking to identify a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in East Haven on Tuesday morning.
The suspect, described as a stocky man with a gray beard wearing a baseball cap, gray and black fleece type jacket, possibly Columbia or North Face, dark-colored pants or sweats, possibly Adidas, and light shoes, entered the Citizens Bank at 263 Hemingway Ave. around 10:34 a.m. on Tuesday and allegedly passed along a note implying that he had a weapon, according to the East Haven Police Department.
The man fled the bank and headed eastbound on River Street with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
There were no reported injuries during the robbery, according to police.
