Two people were airlifted to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Vernon on Wednesday.
The crash occurred in the morning hours in the area of Warren Avenue where officers responded to the report of a crash involving pedestrians, according to the Vernon Police Department.
The two pedestrians involved suffered serious injuries and were flown to an area hospital via LifeStar.
Police said Warren Avenue was closed throughout part of the day between Maple Avenue and Phoenix Street as emergency crews were on the scene.
