The funeral service for Thomas J. Condon, a former Hartford Courant and Connecticut Mirror journalist who died early Tuesday, is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 20, at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Church in Hartford.
Visiting hours will take place at the church, at 285 Church St. in Hartford, on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sept. 20. It will be livestreamed on the church’s website, and Molloy Funeral Home will also provide a link.
Condon was a newspaperman for more than 50 years in Connecticut. During his decades at The Courant, he was a bureau chief, investigative reporter, columnist and editorial writer, among other responsibilities. At the CT Mirror, Condon covered urban and regional issues.
