Two men shot in early morning Hartford incident; one in critical condition

Two men were shot early Saturday in one incident that is now under investigation by the Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions, police said.The first incident occurred just before  4:30 a.m. Saturday; Hartford police officers were dispatched to the 200 block Blue Hills Avenue after receiving a ShotSpotter notification from the system that alerts authorities to shots fired.Police said officers found a victim who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment; he is currently listed in critical condition, police said.Police also learned that a second man was shot during the incident, and he also was taken to an area hospital for treatment, but in a private vehicle. That man was later listed in stable condition, police said.Both of the men are in their 20s, police said,The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions have taken over the investigation and it remains active and ongoing, police said  Anyone with any information regarding the case isasked to call the HPD Tip Line at 860-722-TIPS (8477).
