General AI (AGI – Artificial General Intelligence): AGI refers to a hypothetical level of artificial intelligence where machines possess cognitive abilities comparable to humans. AGI would have the ability to understand, learn, and apply knowledge across a wide range of tasks, much like a human being.
Superintelligent AI (ASI – Artificial Superintelligence): ASI refers to a stage where AI surpasses human intelligence in all aspects, including creativity, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and social understanding. This is a realm where AI is not just equal to human intelligence but far exceeds it.
